Studio Policy
Our Service Guarantee
At Manzer Hair Studio, we strive to ensure that every guest enjoys a positive and satisfying experience. If for any reason you are not completely happy, please inform us during your appointment or within 48 hours after your service. We value your feedback and will do our best to address any concerns.
Cancellation Policy
We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule individual appointments. We never overbook or double-book and offer flexible hours to accommodate your schedule.
If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice and up to 1 hour prior to your appointment, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
For appointments lasting 3 hours or longer, we require 48 hours’ notice and a $100 deposit (e-transfer) at the time of booking, or a valid credit card on file to hold the appointment. If cancelled within 48 hours, the deposit will be forfeited.
For group bookings of four or more, we require 48 hours’ notice and a deposit of 50% of the total service (or $200) at the time of booking. Cancellations within 48 hours will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Deposits & Pre-Payment Authorization
Certain services may require a deposit or a credit card pre-authorization to secure your appointment. This amount will be applied to your total service cost and is non-refundable if you cancel outside of our cancellation policy timeframe.
No-Show Policy
“No-shows” and last-minute cancellations leave our stylists with empty appointment times. Guests who do not honour their appointments will be charged the full value of the scheduled service, payable prior to booking another appointment or at the next visit.
Late Arrivals
Please be courteous to your stylist and other guests. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment and you may be charged the full value of the missed service.
Service Refunds & Redo Policy
We do not offer refunds for services. If an error occurred on the part of our service provider, we are happy to schedule a complimentary corrective appointment. If you are unhappy with your result, please contact us within 48 hours.
All corrective appointments must be approved by management and completed within 5 days of the original service date.
Please note that achieving your desired result when working with box colour, dark-to-light transitions, or major corrections may require multiple sessions.
Corrective or redo appointments address technical issues related to the original service and do not include changes in style, tone, or desired outcome unrelated to the initial consultation.
Right to Refuse Service
Manzer Hair Studio reserves the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behaviour toward any member of our team.
Product Return Policy
We’re happy to accept returns on retail products purchased at Manzer Hair Studio within 7 days of the original date, in new or gently used condition with proof of purchase. Refunds are provided as in-salon credit only. All returns are subject to management approval. In-store returns only.
Children
Our Children’s Menu is designed for clients aged 7 years and younger. These appointments are 30 minutes in length and may include a wash and/or a dry, depending on the child’s hair type and the stylist’s timing.
If your child’s hair is tangled or matted and detangling exceeds the allotted time, additional charges will apply in 30-minute increments to remove tangles. In some cases, we may not be able to complete the haircut if tangles are too severe.
All children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. For clients under 18 receiving a colour service, a parent or guardian must sign a consent form prior to the service.
Health & Safety
Your wellbeing is our priority. We adhere to all Toronto Public Health and BodySafe standards to maintain a clean, safe, and sustainable environment. As a Green Circle Certified Salon, we recycle and repurpose up to 95% of beauty waste.
Head Lice
In accordance with BodySafe Toronto regulations, we cannot provide services to clients with head lice. If lice are detected during a service, we must stop immediately. Once treatment is completed, we’re happy to rebook your appointment (typically within 48 hours).
Reservations & Online Scheduling
Appointments can be made by calling the salon or through our online booking system on our website. To secure your booking, we require a credit card on file. Your card will only be charged in the event of a late cancellation or no-show, per our policy.

Methods of Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Debit, E-Transfer, and Cash.
Gift Certificate Policy
- Copies of gift certificates are not accepted.
- Please contact us regarding lost or misplaced gift certificates.
- All gift certificates are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.
- Valid for products and services at Manzer Hair Studio only.
Privacy Policy
All personal and payment information provided to Manzer Hair Studio — whether in person or through our online booking system — is kept secure and confidential. We do not share your data with third parties.
Photography & Social Media
We love celebrating transformations! With your permission, we may take photos or videos of your hair for social media or educational purposes. You may opt out at any time by letting your stylist know before your service begins.
